We believe in providing a quality curriculum for children of all ages.Even in the infant room, teachers plan activities in order to foster your child’s development.Our curriculum is relationship based; we want your child to feel safe and secure.We do this by attending to their needs as quickly as possible, following their personal schedule, and by providing activities which stimulate learning in the different areas of development.
Examples of Activities Provided by our Caring Staff:
Imitating your baby’s facial expressions (grunting, yawning, squinting, smiling)
Respond to your baby's babbling with simple words to encourage turn-taking
Walking around with your baby, touching and naming objects.
Sitting with your baby in front of a mirror, naming different body parts
Using your baby’s name during the day so that they come to recognize it
Talking about ongoing activities, emphasizing key words
Dancing to music and singing songs
Playing peek-a-boo and Hide-and-Seek
Taking nature walks, naming objects and encouraging them to imitate
Sensory activities such as sand & water play and blowing bubbles
